For a sense of perspective: 2022 - all Teslas can charge at CCS-1 fast DC chargers with an adapter (at least 3 suppliers) 2019 - my Tesla charges at CCS-1 fast DC chargers after installing 3d party kit and adapter 2017 - reports are Teslas can be modified for CCS-1 fast DC chargers To the limit I have tested and others reported, all Teslas since 2017 can have CCS-1 fast DC charging in addition to their built-in J3400 (NACS). Having charged with a borrowed CHAdeMO adapter, this is pretty much every fast DC charger. Some cities, companies, and utilities have install 65 kW ChargePoint stations. That is the ChargePoint's business plan to sell and service both their J1772 and CCS-1/CHAdeMO chargers to property owners. So yes, I would love to see more Tesla owned and operated SuperChargers. But I would prefer to see Tesla sell SuperCharger stations and J3400 conversion kits to others. Tesla's profit margin is in manufacturing. Bob Wilson
The most compelling reason to own a Tesla was the charging network. If Elon is flushing that down the toilet, what's left?
