I'm looking for input on my 2012 Prius V battery. I've rolled 223K miles in So Cal on the same battery.
The battery light moves from fully charged (usually one bar less) to 2 bars depending on my driving conditions. Does anyone have input on how to maintain the battery? Is there anything I should be doing besides saving money to replace it?

make sure the cooling intake vent stays clear, and clean the fan. use max a/c when needed and get maximum tint, and/or windshield screen if you park in the sun.
keep up on scheduled and unscheduled engine maintenance so there is no extra burden on the battery.
if you want to make an investment, get a grid charger.

Yea, I've blown the head gasket and did an engine swap at 195,000 miles. Around that time, the coils & plugs too. I also did the suspension 35 thousand miles ago, I just was told the front struts were leaking. My new question is should I swap the rear suspension as well? I drive about 20,000 miles a year.
    Thanks for your input!

Yeah, you might try getting a grid charger for the maintenance for your battery. It'd be more of a preventative thing in your case, like changing your oil every 5-10K miles, but you might be able to get the most out of your battery before you have to replace it.

Here is one that is more of a "plug and play" type that a bunch of people use here on PC:
