VSC and other functions not working

And you know you're 12 volt is certainly up to the task? Just because things turn on and the remote sometimes works and the lights are acting funny generally I can be caused by voltage swings nothing behind the voltages swinging etc then of course a complete disconnect from all power for I don't know 10 minutes or something like you do to your regular computer at home you know complete power down sit and then a reboot other than that you'll be going through every circuit and every fuse looking for God knows what apparently in generation threes and what have you and newer the soy wiring is a delicacy to the rodents rodents seem to like the generation 3 and forward cars I'm in Central North Carolina where roads are well almost King and rarely hear these problems unless you're parking the car in 3 ft of grass and leaving it there for months.

 

Just seems like a lot of things going on at an opportune times and then not I would think all the fuses are good everything in the car is working right? For the most part seems like it's timing of things maybe off which in this model mostly computers control the timing of everything they're depending upon the 12 volt battery and that sort of thing Not really much else to it other than all those computers.

 

The only useful thing a light on the dash tells you is that the associated system (VSC, in this case) has one or more codes set. So the best (and obvious) suggestion is to read the codes so you know what your car is trying to tell you.

Given the symptoms you have stated, one issue points heavily to a problem with the continuity of power to the 12 V bus. I would first check that the terminal connections on the battery are clean and tight and that the other end of the negative cable where it connects to the car body is also clean and tight.

You could have more than one thing going on here, but ensuring a good 12 v supply is paramount before chasing anything else down.
