Hi guys. I have an issue with my gen 3 2010 speedometer. It goes dim to blank and back to normal randomly. It first happened when we had a real cold snap and since then it's becoming frustrating to the point I've had to buy a gps speedometer. It's not the dimming wheel or anything. I've eliminated that. It simply dims and sometimes goes completely blank for long periods of time. I've seen that on the gen 2 this is a common fault and there's videos and information of them changing the capactitor. But I've not found anything pertaining to gen 3. Is the repair the same as gen 2? It's only the speedometer, fuel gauge cluster that is affected. Nothing else. Any help or point into the right direction is appreciated. Thanks.
