Hi All, I uploaded a video on YouTube of me getting into Prius, turning on the car, removing parking brake (left foot not visible in the video), putting on the seat belt, gearing into D(rive) and then taking off in less than 10 seconds. I am counting from 8 sec into the video up until 17 or 18 sec which makes it 9 to 10 seconds for the whole process. Notice, I did the whole process while holding my camera. I had to switch hands to put on the seat belt and put the gear into D and to turn the steering wheel. I know I can do it faster if someone else is holding the camera. I did it to jump start who can do the fastest. Post how fast you can do and let me know!! I don't know about you but I can feel the exitement already!! 10 seconds? I'm pretty sure I can do as good, perhaps even better . When I get in the car, my right foot steps on the brake as I get in. When I am almost fully seated, the power button gets pushed and the e-brake pops up and the seat belt clicks in, Flick the car into D or R (depending on how i'm parked), and I'm off. The part that takes the longest is waiting for the car to finish it's boot-up so I can switch gears
not bad. I love the keyless system. it is awesome. I found myself reaching for the key after parking like I would in an old car still

If I am not holding the camera, I have to wait for the car to get the "Ready" light but not that long. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(YodaddyAlex @ Dec 27 2006, 07:12 PM) </div> I got so used to Smart Key. When I went to Orlando, I had Chevy Cobalt LT as a rental. I had to take out the key every time, even for the trunk! My gf had to wait for me to get the doors unlock all the time because I was so slow getting the key out of my pocket. What a pain. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(darelldd @ Dec 27 2006, 08:12 PM) </div> It is similar to EPA sticker (City 60 MPG / Highway 51 MPG), got it from Ebay. You can see better in this pic taken in the summer:
