Is there a trick to placement of the rack to stop the whistling. I know they skimped on the sound dampening so lll hear some, but it's really loud. Thinking of buying an air deflector to possibly help. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Anything that disrupts airflow will create resistance and noise. That's the most basic answer. Yes it will whistle, no you can't avoid it 100%.
