Recommendation OBD device

    I’m thinking of under $200 scanner that I can use to view and clear codes like brakes. My Techstream copy is acting up. What are you using? (I have an Obd dongle and dr Prius, I’m looking at a full device.)

    Thanks! I have tried several of these apps, yes. I now thinking of buying a full fledged 2 way scanner but don’t want to spend more than $200 or so.

    Are you using TechStream on an old laptop? If you're not using a VM for TS, consider this.

    The ThinkDiag IS a "full fledged 2 way scanner" - it appears to have all the same functions as Techstream.

    The only problem I see with it is that you need to pay an annual subscription every 12 months to keep it functional.
