Hey all, I've been searching out a way to not have the Multimedia dim when turning on the headlights. Problem is, if it's not pitch black out, then it's almost impossible to read the multimedia on the 'dark' setting when lights are on. It's ok at night, but during the day, I have to turn of and on lights when I need to read my map or radio information, because it's too dark to see. Any thoughts? I don't want to turn it back to light/white settings, only to brighten the screen on Multimedia when the lights are fully on.
I checked the display in the manual, and there should be a way to keep the display at 'Day' settings. I'll check it out this weekend. Thanks, ChapmanF!
I have been having the same issue. I have checked everywhere for the answer including my dealer during the 5000 mile service and have not found an answer yet. I believe this is a LE only problem.
Well, changing the Brightness and Contrast on the Media Display screen worked wonders! I still can't see it when I wear my sunglasses, but can pretty easily see the Multimedia screens (even the Android Auto) even though I normally wear reading glasses. Thanks again for the tip!
