Im still learning regarding some of the differences between the top tier Prime in NA (I assume the canadian model is mostly the same) and EU. Here is a list according to my current knowledge. Please let me know if you have some other points. Points with (?) are not that clear to me: NA only: JBL speakers Wireless charging Power socket in rear seats Homelink (these buttons on rear mirror) Anti-Theft (?) Traffic Jam assist (?) EU only: Dual Zone HVAC with Nanoe X Filter Better rear seat headrest including adjustable one for middle seat Auto foldable side mirrors with turn signal Adaptive driving beams Some kind of map based/predictive auto ev/hv stuff (?) Better (less noisy) tires (?) Other things: Swiss model doesnt have any power sockets Due to EU regulations, more features are forced (like speeding warnings) Prime in NA has red LED/seat interiou while EU one is like normal US prius NA model has this big huge block for the whiper Edit: Remove (?) from Adaptive Driving beams
What does the ? mean? Are they items that you aren't sure are differences between markets. Regulations have more effect than forcing some features. US vehicle standards are dated, so we can't get the real advanced adaptive headlights. Then our whiplash protection standards are stricter than the EU's, thus the bigger rear head rests.
Yeah exactly. That's true, but they still skimp on providing an adjustable middle-seat headrest in the US. I suppose the concept is akin to the "mono" zone HVAC. Given the number of cars per US household, it's far less likely that two, let alone five, people are in the car at the same time.

Anti-Theft (?) It's a door sensor alarm system, no tremor switch or hood sensor. Most people add a front + rear drive camera system that has a tremor switch, it records motion + jolts to the parked car.
I think they're aligned now. Only difference I know is that in the EU if you select "Auto EV/HV" with a navigation route, the Predictive EV Drive function switches between "Auto EV/HV" and "HV", reserving EV use for the most appropriate parts of the route.
Another thing at least for NL, we get the Toyota Smart Connect free for 4 years. The price afterwards is unknown.
There seem to be alot of differences regarding services and e.g. warranty on country level. Like some countries get 15 years of warranty as well. I guess even Canada and US will be partly different here.
No quite. In my country, which have the same setting of the rest of EU, there's standard two different set of anti-theft: Base trim = siren, horn, lights, immobilizer the 2 upper trim = added volumetric anti-intrusion with sensors.
We do have the option of adding an OEM tremor switch to our alarm system; but the cost for an aftermarket drive camera system is the same. Therefore, your getting a physical recording of someone breaking into or hitting your car vs just your horn and flashing lights.

According to the spec sheets, yes there are, on the middle and top trims, same as the rest of Europe. ("Fari Led adattivi AHS") There's actually very little spec varation within Europe - there's basically the same 3 versions everywhere, with the main variation being whether the middle trim level has the glass roof or not. Ireland's the exception, with only 1 high-trim right-hand drive version. Will be interesting to see if the UK gets more choices.

I guess it's not "matrix", as it's only got a 1-dimensional LED array, not 2-dimensional like some newer systems - maybe you've latched onto AndersOne's slightly squiffy terminology. (Edit: corrected Headlight to High-Beam. But it does have one non-high-beam function, which is adjusting dipped beam angle according to preceding traffic).
Good point - i thought "matrix led" is a common term for most people even when not fulfilling the stric mathematical term. I dont mind changing it to adaptive though in the next iteration if thats more clear
