Hi everyone. Does anyone know what the guide message is under the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) options in the gen 5 Prius? It can be toggled on or off, but I have no idea what it does. The owners manual mentions this twice with no real explanation and googling isn’t yielding much useful information. Thanks in advance all!
Maybe it relates to the two road sign functions above? There is a text prompt about holding the up or down button to match a speed limit sign. Maybe it controls that prompt.
Not yet, unfortunately. I’ve had the Prius Prime SE for less than a week now and have only driven it twice so far. I finally got a chance to really sit down with the manual and adjust some settings today, but not enough time to take the car out for a drive.
I’m not sure, to be honest. It is on by default and I used DRCC a little bit on the drive home after picking up the car. I don’t recall seeing that message when activating DRCC at that time, but maybe I just didn’t notice it at the time.
Or maybe it's to turn on or off prompts like "press resume or gas pedal to resume drcc" when the car comes to a stop using drcc?
