I have the same problem. I want to plug in a Drive Sync gizmo to help me get tax rebates for mileage, but I cannot find it at all. They also suggest that it might be in the glove compartment or the between-the-front-seat console and it is not.

Read this thread from the beginning. Check to see if your OBD plug is pushed into the console as pointed out in comment #18. The female plug is fastened onto the facia of the plastic dash under the left side of the steering wheel column. It can be pushed into the consol and plug dangling inside, leaving just the hole on the dash as shown in the comment #17 pic.

It is on the left side of the emergency brake (in front of the 1" by about 4" fuse box. (Found the fuse box and thought, "this is terrible to get to" but then realized the white plug-in spot is closer toward the rear of the car than the fuse box.) Actually, right behind the panel with the fuel cap release button and horizontal to that panel.

Just to check that you do have a a "Prius Prime"? Mine is a 2018 Prius Prime Advanced. I bought a VEEPEAK check OBD2 connector and successfully paired it with my Android phone but, when I load the Dr. Prius app I purchased, it keeps saying "connection failed". I'm beginning to wonder if Dr. Prius works with a "Prime". (I too want to get rid that infernal beep every time I put the car in reverse.) (-:
