My 2nd gen 2007 is giving me all the symptoms of a bad or corrupted hybrid battery. Its Engine is also growling (oscillating every couple of seconds from low to loud) after running for a few minutes and won’t barely drive.
Below are all the fault codes …
BUT before I invest in a replacement HB should be worried that there are some underlying problems?

Just the HV battery for now, as that's a positive failure

Yes and when you go to Yank yours out and put in the replacement rack of modules or whatever it is you're doing you need to check your battery HV computer there's tons of post here about how to clean it up clean the pins and check it or hunt another one down but check yours by taking the back off of it and making sure that you're not plagued with the massive amounts of corrosion on the bars that go from the receptacle to the main board inside the aluminum case or silver case of the battery ECM itself which you must remove from your old battery to put on the new rack It's a thing.

Thanks, so it’s a ‘normal’ symptom that the car barely drives and makes those engine sounds with a failed HV battery?

I'm not sure about the noises when my '09 it's HV battery was failing like on its last leg everything under the hood of the battery was corroded and fubar The car still got 39 miles to the gallon and the gas engine ran all the time and I noticed it was down on power but I wasn't requiring any just BS flatland driving from service call to service call not trying to kill anybody or sit any land speed records so I didn't have a whole lot of howling what I did have and notice was if I stepped on the gas right smartly the revs would go up in the car would go nowhere just like a clutchess slipping but we have no clutch something to do with the way the electric motors add to the gearing scheme or whatever goes on here and when they can't the gas engine overpowers the mess and then causes something to slip and just starts to rev and do oblivion The minute the new battery went in I was unable to do that anymore like right now if I go out and try to do that in the same car we're talking about it won't do it.
