Engine knock @ 119,820 miles on a 2013

    Slightly less oil moisture sticking than spark plug #3. Turn out clean them all up and adjust the gap to O.41.

    Coolant temperature 195 F @ rpm 1400- 1900 on highway drive ok? Out temp 60f in socal.

    They shouldn't need gaping. It's set at the factory, .044

    I have 2 set of 4 plugs. They all factory set @ less 0.41. aprox 0.39 when i measured

    You shouldn’t need to adjust gap on modern plugs. They’re designed for one gap, gapped thus at the factory. And they don’t wear to speak of. If the gap is off they’re defective, maybe dropped or something.

    There are alot fake plugs out there. Even some auto part can't tell. Always measure the correct gap according to the Toyota factory.

    A bad plug causing a misfire code won’t go away in 25 seconds and won’t throw codes on a different cylinder from time to time.

    May have to find an authentic plugs from Toyota dealer this today.. too may counterfeit out there. Bad plug can cause misfire and can't imagine how many misfired when driving between EV to (ICE)
