Has anyone figured how to reduce, turn off or adjust the volume on the proximity sensor warning when parking the Prius Prime Limited Premium with Advanced Park and Panoramic View. When I pull into my tight garage, I am about a foot away from bicycles, work benches, etc and the warning sound gets loader and more annoying the closer you get to objects. I can see everything on the 360 degree camera, I do not need the annoying warning sound. Is there a Toyota Safety Sense option to reduce the volume?
Based on everything I have read about the G4, the Vehicle Pedestrian Notification System (VPNS) is legally mandated in the US now so there is no option to alter the sound or remove it legally. There are several forum pages detailing various methods of defeating it but since you have a G5 I cant say if they will help or not.
