Does anyone know if there is a Prius club in Houston or maybe a meeting place to just get together and share experiences. Just wondering.
The short answer is not really. There was a hypermiler with an email list who used to have hybrid meetups once in a great while, and there have been some sporadic Prius meetups in the past, like when I showed off my then hard to find 2010 Prius.
Yep - shipped here from Connecticut. Couldn't resist the fantastic deals that were being offered. As a special added bonus the upgrade brought me normal tires with softer ride, and the 8-way power seat. Those 2 things alone were worth it, never mind the somewhat limited 12 miles of EV range. FYI, PIPs are supposed to become available here by the end of the year.
BUMP. Reviving this thread. Seems to be the latest for the Houston Area. So, is anyone interested in getting together? Have coffee, kick tires, shake hands etc? Been on PC for a while now and see a lot of Pri around H town...
I'll bump this thread. I'm new too prius and just moved back to H-town after 18 years outside St Louis MO. wouldn't mind a little networking with the local Prius crowd Also, my new to me 2012 Prius v may have the shake and rattle of death (probably head gasket, definitely dirty intake/egr/egr cooler etc)..so I am looking for a shop that won't charge me a fortune to do the head gasket.
I'm looking for updates on this subject. Do I understand correctly there's not much of an organized Prius group for the Houston area?
Like most batteries, they tend to give out less juice over time due to wear and tear. I would spend a little more dough and get one at around 50K miles. I would also get it inspected at a Toyota dealer and see what their maintenance schedule looks like, what is done at every XX,000 miles and how much it costs. I dont own a Prius but I've been thinking of purchasing the Prius prime or a model 3.
Texas Prius Owners … Let’s meet up for a camp-out before it gets hot …. Texas Hot ! Brady, Texas refers to itself as the "Heart of Texas", as it is the city closest to the geographical center of the state, which is about 15 miles northeast of Brady. I’ve never been to Brady but I want to make it fair for all. Someone pick a date and campground before Memorial Day or a fall camp-out in October 2024. I’ll be driving from Austin.
