Interesting that at least 25 of us posted things on Christmas Day. What does this tell us about PriusChat? it's very popular some do not regard Christmas as a special holiday some of us think holidays are boring and we can find nothing to do PriusChat is addictive to some Others...?

well i had to WORK yesterday... 10 hour shift. then left immediately afterwards to go to my sister's house to arrive at a celebration several hours late. (they did wait until we got there to serve dinner...i was touched) so that is the only reason why i didnt post here. other than that, i do not see what the issue is here. on a holiday, one should be allowed to do what pleases them without guilt. being here pleases me
This is a part of my extended family...I am serious. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(daniel @ Dec 26 2006, 12:01 PM) </div> I am very sorry for this. You know, we disagree a lot, but in my definition of "friends", ummm (ahem)...you are one....so don't say you have no friends.
My wife is visiting friends and family in Europe. I thought this was a good place to come to argue about the virtues (or lack there of!) of VSC!
i would have been here if we had a connection at home. we spent the evening doing nothing after eating way too much ham for dinner
Sometimes I use PriusChat to kill a few minutes. For example, yesterday I was waiting for my wife to get ready for the Christmas dinner we were going to. I used the five minutes to hop on, see what was going on, make a post, and then get out. I do view PriusChat as sort of a job. I like to check in every once and a while.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(IsrAmeriPrius @ Dec 26 2006, 01:33 PM) </div> This is true, but we still have that 24 hours to deal with.
i have never nor will i be likely to be convinced that christmas is a religious holiday in any way what so ever. just as i dont feel patriotic on the 4th, i dont really care why christmas was started simply because it has nothing to do with why i celebrate it.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Oxo @ Dec 26 2006, 03:29 AM) </div> "PriusChat is addictive to some" Definitely. Dave M.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(grasshopper @ Dec 26 2006, 10:43 AM) </div> The OP appears to be concerned that "at least 25 of us posted things on Christmas Day," inferring that we violated the sanctity of the holiday. Some of us who do not celebrate Christmas had more time to post on PriusChat.
I am not Christian and my holiday weekend had a dark cloud hanging over it because of the loss of my car. I had so many plans this weekend, and next! All ruined.
No little kids in my house meant I could check in before xmas brunch and assorted get togethers later in the day. Must say I was glad there seemed to be no contentious posts whenever I checked in. Peace.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(YodaddyAlex @ Dec 26 2006, 05:00 PM) </div> That sucks. What happened?
Well, dinner at my sister's wasn't until 5 pm. I spent the morning and early afternoon baking pies and surfing the net while I was waiting. When I got home I immediately logged on to buy guitar strings for my nephew's classical (well, his Dad's actually) as the boys got some sort of computer game that teaches you how to play guitar and they were all hot to learn. So I bought strings, checked the mail and then checked Priuschat. I always check here as part of my log on routine. Besides, I'm on vacation and this is part of my entertainment.
