I have a 2011 Prius with a sunroof and solar package. When I go through the car wash water will come into the vehicle where the sun visors are attached to the headliner. This happens when the car gets to the high-pressure blowers.

If this has happened to your vehicle, how did you fix it?

The drains for the sunroof probably clogged.

You can use I haven't done my solar roof Prius because it finally blew up and I don't need to bother cleaning it anymore It's now trash and other Toyotas that I've owned for the last 47 years when the sunroofs get clogged in my electric sunroofs on other Toyotas I take the rods that glow in the dark that I use for electrical work they screw together whatever I take one of those and I run it down the sunroof drains older Toyota's had four two in the front up near the edges of where the sun visors are attached and two in the back I don't know what the Prius has but I would run those rods down the sunroof drains one rod will go from the top of the drain almost down to the bottom of the fender where it deposits in the front and that would push the crap through and then I would take an attachment that I have on my hose that would fit in that same hole and I blast some water through there and I watch it run out onto the ground and I can hear it then I do the other side now when I go through a car wash or heavy rain that should not be happening. In all my sunroof cars from Toyota this was pretty much routine maintenance at spring and Summer cleaning. And at the same time I would open the hatch and on cars that I had recently purchased I would find tree crap built up in between the hatch indention and the gasket so I would clean all that up and get it out until everything look like it was when it was new and then keep it that way.

As far as I know, there aren't any drains. If you know where they are, please let me know.

I'll have to go out and look at the wife solar roof car that's broken down in the driveway If I can boot it up and open usually they're in the corners but I don't know about this particular design up to be honest with you and I'm sure in the body section of the manual it would show if they were there like readily and talk about unclogging them and what have you If not then I don't know really how it drains and that's pretty scary they're banking on water not getting in in the first place Lord I hope not.
