    Hello,

I've been searching multiple OEM part providers for part # 82641-47040 but my order gets canceled every time stating that the part has been discontinued. Is there an alternative / newer part I can order to replace the above or do I need to start looking at the likes of ebay for a spare?

    Thanks for the help!

The new part number is 82641-71010.
Unlike the updated Toyota USA parts site, Amayama still has a usable catalog.

Most online dealer parts sites will ask for your vin to ensure accurate part numbers. I have emailed them as well.

    Hello,

Thank you all for the suggestions. I will have to try out Amayama in the future to avoid anything like this! I ended up getting a spare off of ebay let's pray that this one holds up for the life time of the car.

    Cheers!

Blast from the past here. I originally got a replacement part off of ebay however that one seems to have bit the dust.
I'm apparently too green to post links so I will have to just do with part numbers for now.
I'm following through on your suggestion looking on amayama and it looks like I am in need of one 82641-470[31|70|80] not 8264171010 as this appears to be a different part.
That being said, the diagram I am using does not reference the original 82641-47040 that was found in the car: in fact the part number can't be found on the site. My car in question is a 2010 3rd gen prius so I think the diagram is accurate however. Do you think that using one of the above mentioned parts would be an adequate replacement?

Also, could this be an electrical issue further upstream that's causing this electrical piece to fail?
    Regards,
    Garrett

I see the part number I previously posted was for No. 2 Integration Relay, while what you need is the No. 1 Integration Relay.

My experience with Amayama has been that they send out the latest version of a part even if their diagrams and catalogs have not been updated to reflect the new part number. Another good resource is the electronics parts catalog maintained at toyota.epc-data.com, which I'm still trying to figure out myself. It looks like they have data for the Japanese version of the Gen 3, but not the US versions. I could be mistaken though.

The specific part number you need will depend upon the production date which you can get off the driver's door jamb. For now you can try visiting toyotapartsdeal.com or similar, feed them your VIN, and then search for Relay, Integration NO. 1 and see what pops up. 82641-47031 fits vehicles produced 04/2009-11/2010, and 82641-75090 fits those produced 11/2010-12/2011.
