Rear 12v for dashcam

    Got a spare dashcam that I would like to install at the rear. It's a front dash unit but I would like to install it for recording rear view. Anyone know a good place to tap the 12v power from rear trunk or somewhere that can provide power when car is started?

    I did the reverse light but like it doesnt cut to regular things when I leave reverse.

    tap the aux battery with a voltage protector relay when you turn the car off and the voltage drops it will kick the relay off shutting the camera down.
