<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Mr. Zorg @ Dec 25 2006, 08:22 PM) </div> Yes, exactly. Like the Tesla. But the biggest problem is not the cost. I'd buy it today. The problem is that if you pay for it today you have an estimated two-year waiting period. We're not talking a refundable $500 deposit, like the Prius. We're talking pay for the car now. And I don't think they've begun selling them yet, so don't even dream of offering an early buyer a 100% mark-up in order to get one immediately. The Tango has a waiting period estimated at 6 months, but the features are very unappealing: No regenerative braking, no VSC, and I don't even know if it has ABS. And the base model has 1/5 the range of the Tesla. Plus there is zero cargo space unless you remove the passenger seat, which is in back of the driver's seat, and the passenger's legs straddle the driver's seat. It's basically a 4-wheel motorcycle with a cab. And the company is so small and so under-funded they cannot even afford insurance on their demo. Pay full price now and hope they stay in business long enough to deliver your car in 6 months.
