    So I am looking at a 100k+ used Prius 2009 : I have multiple obd2 ( LElink, Blue-driver,...) as well as TS.

I am assume that TS is over-kill ? I just want to read/make sure there is no pending / historical issue , and may be, some individual batteries information .

    Thought ?

TS might be over kill, but many OBD2 readers have problems getting to all the codes on a Prius. Better over kill than under kill.

Thanks, guys: all is good, my TS read and it has a very decent (good reading ) battery, original CAT with cat shield... all in very sound mechanical condition...

I am reviewing the data now... stand by.

So it is dark, and I don't have all the tool with me (yet) ... I do not want to put the car in drive and back, but here is the scope:

It is a 2007 Prius, 60k miles or so, with weak ( need jump start )battery, visual brake system warning light and ABS light on, no other light are active :)

    Course of action:
-Read TS for battery health, replace if needed ( never been replace ).
-Read TS for ABS and brake system light issue : I should expect my brake fluid to be clean and above minimum mark ?

Any additional troubleshoot I should do, before reset the lights, and restart ???

    TIA,

    Update:
Since the original driver are no longer answer any question, and no maintenance record of any kind ( LOL), I have to improvise !

The girl is fine: somewhere in PC there is a used Prius Gen2 checklist and I used it with some modification ... Before turn on ignition, I check all tires, front brake and hand brake, 12V battery, engine overall ( air filter, oil, ... ) .. all are good and it have not been driven for 10-14 months. Both brake fluid, engine fluid and hybrid fluid level are good.

Try to turn it on ... nada, a jump quickly correct it... IG, good, ACC, good with multiple brake/ABS/brake system on. I can not get TS to read anything (???) . I did a manual clear on pin. 4-13 and all system is ready !.
12V battery read after charge seem to be fine, so I will not replace it for now. May be later .
Now I can see TS read fine with no pending code, LOL: can not be this easy ?!!

I took it for a short 5 minutes, no issue ... then another 50 minutes drive ... no issue, WOW.

On another subsequent over an hour drive ( over 50 MPH ) the triangle of death, engine check, and system warning light on... but the girl keep going ... I pull off and pull a P0A93. I can see no bubble in the inverter reservoir and this must be it, since I manually touch the inverter pump and feel no vibration !!!

I head to Stealer, hand them over 250 bucks for the pump ... Installing will be additional 550 bucks and I have to leave the car for a day ??!!! WOW ! I pick up a coolant bottle for 30.

I drove to my (new) homeboy, hand them the part, they took and install it for 100 bucks, within 25 minutes - including refill the coolant !.

Car on it way on a truck heading West...
I think it is a decent deal with 2007 base Prius with 60k miles, and original OEM for less than $8k, with no adventure !

FYI: I can not get any hybrid battery reading on TS, and of course, my Bluedriver did not . I will have to pay for Torque Pro or one of the app to to check on the hybrid battery . I will update ,
