My MFD is very dim and i wanted to replace the whole screen assembly. When I took it out its a 86110-47230. What all models are compatible with 86110-47230 that i can use as a replacement. Its a 2007 Prius with back up cam.

An 86110-47230. If you look on ebay, the majority of reputable sellers insist you purchase a model that is the exact match. They have a very good reason for that.

Each model is designed to work with specific options. Some cars have navigation, some have backup cameras, some have JBL stereo, some have bluetooth. some have some or all of the above.

Mixing part numbers can result in smoking the new one, as some different models have slightly different power wires.

The model numbers listed below are direct fit to your 07 Prius. My 09 Prius was successfully upgraded from 86110-47230 to 86110-47220. I added some wires between the DIY microphone amp in the overhead console and the MFD, and replaced the Bluetooth and navigation keypad on the right of the steering wheel. If you are interested in further upgrading to Bluetooth or navigation version, my "Factory Bluetooth Installation DIY" post is for your reference.

86110-47200 7 keys, Japanese version with navigation and Bluetooth.
86110-47201 7 keys, Japanese version with navigation and Bluetooth.
86110-47210 4 keys, US version with Bluetooth only.
86110-47220 7 keys, US version with navigation and Bluetooth.
86110-47230 4 keys, US version w/o navigation and Bluetooth.
86110-47260 7 keys, US version with navigation and Bluetooth.
86110-47270 7 keys, Japanese version with navigation and Bluetooth.

The model no. listed below are three ports version on the back. They are direct fit to the 2004/5 model year of Prius in the US. Modification of the wiring and adapters of the harness is required to your 07 Prius:

86110-47070 7 keys, US version with navigation and Bluetooth.
86110-47071 7 keys, US version with navigation and Bluetooth.
    86110-47080 4 keys, US version w/o Bluetooth.
    86110-47081 4 keys, US version w/o Bluetooth.
86110-47250 7 keys, Europe version with navigation and Bluetooth.

    3, Unsure yet:

86110-47190 7 keys? Chinese version? 3 ports version?
86110-47240 4 keys, Taiwanese version. No Bluetooth. 3 ports version?

Based on this list above, if i don't need/use nav can I downgrade safely from 47260 to the 47230, 47220, or 47210?

where did this cross over list come from, or is it just a compiled list and won't cross over.
do you have, or does anyone really have a definate wiring chart for each model MFD
    thanks for helping

From your description above the 87220 and 87260 seem to have the same features. Are they interchangeable with the same functionality?

    I have a 2004 i-tech with the following MFD
86110-47071 7 keys, US version with navigation and Bluetooth
I was wondering if it would be compatible with
86110-47220 7 keys, US version with navigation and Bluetooth
reason I ask is that I can purchase the 86110-47220 easily enough to replace my damaged unit.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is old but in case somebody runs across this thread looking for answers I just replaced a 260 with a 220, according to the above table they were functionally the same. Tested backup camera, navigation, climate, audio, works ok.
