Hello. I just got a salvage 2014 Prius c 3. It works great but I'm worried because one of the like 6 reservoir broken and I don't know what it is/ can't find it on the internet to buy a replacement either. The manual calls it the "engine coolant reservoir" (It's directly attached to the radiator). But when I Google it, all I get is the power control unit reservoir. which goes near the windshield of the car and keeps a red liquid in it. I'd upload a picture but I keep getting an error. Any help is appreciated!

priuschat image uploads are broken, you have to link to an externally hosted image unfortunately.

Good mystery, i had a look in one of the Toyota parts databases and I can't find it. I found the same reservoir you did, but not the one to the next to the filler neck/radiator cap.

If I get another chance later I'll have another look...

p.368 of the 2014 owners manual has a pretty good diagram of underhood components.

Going from your description, I think you are trying to replace item 6, the engine coolant reservoir. It's just behind the radiator support, just outward from the filler neck. It is shown in greater detail on p. 373.

Interestingly, the online Toyota parts databases list p/n G92A0-52011 as "engine coolant reservoir" but the part shown in the associated diagram is clearly the reservoir for the power control unit (inverter) which is the one back on the firewall next to the brake master cylinder.

I haven't found a listing for the actual engine coolant reservoir.

I would probably call a Toyota dealer parts department and ask them to find it. They have more data resources than are offered to the public.

The engine coolant reservoir might come with the fan shroud, or something.

I thought about that, but (using the Olathe Toyota parts thingy) it isn't shown in any of the exploded diagrams. Hoses that connect to it are shown. The filler neck located next to it is shown. Doesn't come up in searches for reservoir, bottle, tank, overflow etc etc. No notes on the radiator like "inc. recovery bottle" or anything like that.

Scratch that- I went back and tried again and it IS included with the fan shroud. Missed it the first go.

@dz680402 Looks like you have to buy the whole shroud assembly to get that. Toyota p/n 16711-21150, list price is $133.16.
