    I did get the deck and foam but from the jpcar parts place, lets see parts in hand cost, they said they will have and can ship mid october. It was $300 all included for parts and shipping which is a few hundred less than what impex was saying. Again, who knows because impex has been proven to deliver and i never tried this place.

    Update: Parts all arrived today, 2 days earlier than expected! Japan to USA in 3 days. Wow. Some things I totally didn't consider.
    1. As someone mentioned, I had complete hindsight and assumed JP license frames and US plate frames were the same. They are not. Definitely not..
    2. I bought the GR door guard.. I also had assumed it comes in a pair, instead it's just a single quantity. I should have bought 2 if I wanted them on both doors lol. I'm going to Japan next month so hopefully I can find one at the big AUTOBACS in Shinonome or something.
    I will be installing it all myself. Just looked through the instructions provided and it requires you to drill a total of 12 holes into the bumper, so I'll get to it once I have more time on my hands and can take off the front bumper to do so. Maybe in a couple weeks, then I'll post pictures as I do it as a guide if anyone's interested. :)

    Note: Anyone have any manual or such on how to remove the front bumper? :D

    My stuff is stuck at customs for the moment. Hopefully I can get it cleared tomorrow and get it on it's way. They need an extra form because the package includes exterior lighting and that's governed by the DOT.

    I could probably get you some info on the front bumper, but I would recommend paying for a week of access to Toyota TIS. It's obtuse enough that you'll want a few days of prep to get used to the interface and terminology for something like removing a bumper cover. While I could print a lot of it out, it really works better to have full access to the site as many of the elements are actually links. Much easier to just click on the link versus shuffling through a stack of papers to find the correct next step.

    https://techinfo.toyota.com/

    If you do it, the instructions will be found here on the tree:

    TOYOTA 2023-2024 Prius Prius Prime Repair Manual
    -->Vehicle Exterior
    ---->EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM
    ------>FRONT BUMPER
    -------->REMOVAL
    -------->INSTALLATION

    edit: Actually, I looked it up and it really wasn't that full of links. I'm attaching the pdf files from TIS. If you have Active Park and/or Panoramic View Monitor, you're going to want the subscription or take the car to a dealer to do an alignment on all the radar sensors and television camera(s). That's a lot more involved.

    If you do have PVM and don't like the red LED and red trimmed interior, let me know. lol
    I'm looking for someone with an XSE+ with heated rear seats who wants to swap colors. I've got a red Limited, and the blue LED dash light clashes a bit with the red paint.

    Oh nice, thank you so much for this! I'll definitely looks into this. My first Toyota so wasn't familiar with this; might also actually expedite my install, hopefully I can do it before I go off to Japan next month. Fortunately, I don't have the PVM lol. I wanted it at first but now I'm feeling a bit relieved haha.

    My stuff finally cleared customs and should be here Monday. Just about 50 days from placing the order to delivery. Now comes the installation. lol

    I only have three things left to install/modify for now; 1) The 'glass' screen protector, 2) Scotchguarding the seats (which will take a whole weekend, so that will be done right before my upcoming vacation, and 3) the dual horns; I'll be doing 1) and 3) this weekend. Can't wait to hear the horns with a proper sound instead of the 'meep'!

    My big order came in today and I did the spare tire conversion right away. I thoroughly detailed it with pictures in the Care/Maintenance subforum, so I'm not going to duplicate that here. Just a couple pics to show the finished work.

    As I said in the other thread: DON'T GET THE OTHER DECK BOARD!!!!

    If anyone needs the info on exactly how big the support blocks need to be and where they need to be placed, I'll be more than happy to provide that info later(it was getting cold and dark outside as I was finishing up).

    I've got a lot of translating of Japanese instructions before I start working on most of my other projects. And I have to take my new mirror covers to the autobody shop to get painted to match the car before I start work on the big mirror project.

    Literally 100 pages of instructions - all in Japanese. And they all involve detailed instructions on rewiring and even some drilling holes in the car. Just the type of projects you want to be using (badly) translated instructions for. And that doesn't include my folding mirror project.

    I'm screwed. :LOL::LOL::cry:

    Can't do anything until I get my mirror covers repainted, so I'm not under the gun just yet.

    My remaining projects: (no particular order)
    1. Interior Illumination - adds lights under the front seats to illuminate the rear footwells
    2. Projection Illumination - adds lights to the bottom of each front door to illuminate the ground with a Prius logo
    3. Door Sill Protectors - at least this one should be easy - but with my luck the projection LEDs will interfere with the sill protectors
    4. Auto-folding side mirrors - total rebuild of both mirrors
    5. Mirror Turn Signal Indicators - shouldn't be a big deal while the mirrors are apart for the folding conversion
    6. Reversed-linked Side Mirror - might be a major problem - kit seems to only be for the drivers mirror ... on a RHD car
    7. Body Color Mirrors - my only input is how much of the new mirrors will be body colored - just the top or the whole thing - paint shop does the rest
    8. Horn Upgrade - high/low Lexus premium horns
    9. de-UFOing the car

    If I can find a Prime owner that wants to swap with me...
    10. Dash LED Swap - switch from blue LEDs to red to better match my paint color(red)

    I don't really care that much about the following(red and silver go together), but the Prime owner might not want blue LEDs and red-trimmed seats, so...
    11. Seat Swap - switch to the red-trimmed seats out of a Prime
    12. Steering Wheel Swap - Primes have a red-stitched steering wheel
    13. Gear Knob Swap - Primes have red trim on theirs

    I got notice from JP car parts that the foam and the deck board are coming today >.> it was $308 for both + shipping

    Got my order from Amazon of my LAST item for Argyos this afternoon! It's to allieviate the hard-ish middle console in 'Softex', which has left my arm sweaty more than once in the last month! I think it looks pretty good and it's comfortable too! I texted it to my spouse, who didn't see any difference until I pointed it out!

    Bought it at Amazon-

    Just here to offer bonus points for the troll-tastic thread title.

    Leadfoot, I have a feeling you're right! I keep talking about things I want to do- I have many links to aftermarket sites. Am waiting for them to add more accessories to their sites- would love to find that elusive 'middle' rear LED upgrade for the LE. That would be amazing to have.

    Prius.

    Quick shot with my phone but I'll do a real photoshoot with my camera when I have time maybe the end of the year. Parts fit great.

    Looking good! With the lip, are you having to cut the angle on driveways and speed bumps to prevent scraping?

    Quick question regarding the TRD GR side visors and door handle protectors. When ordering those from IMPEX Japan, do they come in pairs? Or do you need to select the quantity as 2?
