My Prius has ventilated/heated seats. As we get into winter are there any things I need to be aware of when getting in and sitting down? Will light rain or snow on my jacket damage the ventilation system of the seats?

I don't have ventilated seats with our Gen 4 prius so this might not be the best solution for you.
I used scotchgard (current stuff) https://www.scotchgard.com/3M/en_US/scotchgard/products/auto/
can still get "auto fabric and rug protector" at a decent price when searching ebay ( ) bur normal prices are at least twice what I paid a few years ago ,,,, isn't that par for the course these days....

Than I added seat covers to the two front seats.

Well, if you don’t play snowballs in the car, then I think it won’t damage ), but to flick the snow off your jacket when you get in the car will not be superfluous
