Health. But he's not likely to bring that. I'll have to continue medication, diet, etc. Wisdom. But he's not likely to bring that. I'll have to pay for and continue my masters classes. Wealth. But he's not likely to bring that. I'd love to be the sole winner of the largest lottery payoff in California. Of course, I'd have to start buying lottery tickets. As for Santa (the one in the chenille bathrobe and fuzzy slippers), (s)he'll be bringing me a new Craftsman cordless drill. I already know. If I ask for powertools, they're under the tree. If I ask for anything else, there's a sweater under the tree. Best to ask for powertools. I've already bought myself a Steiff Rabbit. (Ramses is getting three new Doggy Hoots Floppability toys: Sheep on the Lamb, Garbage Guy and Vet the Victim. He's also getting a can of Chicken and Lamb gourmet dog food and a bag of Milk Bone Sirloin snacks.) Happy Christmas to us. Of course, if after the first of the year both the President and the Vice President were suddenly removed from office, I'd be OK with that too.
Santa's already told me what he's bringing....XBox 360 (so I can pretend I'm a teenager again) and a nice super-automatic espresso maker (Trevi Anthracite)...to keep me awake during my marathon Xbox sessions!

. . . Just in case I find myself in the Nixa, MO area the day after one of efusco's caffeine and Xbox marathons, and in need of lifesaving medical attention.

good health insurance effective about 6 months ago. yeah ok we know we're not getting that, so all we wish for is DH's back to continue to get better so we can pay for everything and get life back to normal. we've had it rough this year but we've also had a lot to be thankful for.
::steps up to microphone and smiles demurely, a la Miss USA:: World Peace!... ...and some of that white, powdery stuff, know what I'm sayin'?
