What are the endgames of these bots? I don't see how they could monetize from those replies. Maybe build some credibility before doing the actual monetisation?
Your guess is likely correct. Many sites have posting limits before being able to add links and such to posts. In addition to adding credibility to accounts, they are harder to spot as spam before hitting that limit.
Yup. Build credit and then PM/DM individual members or reply to ads in the classified section and get personal info that way.
