Am I blind or just stupid? (Probably both tbh) but I can't seem to find a dark more and/or different color layout to the forum. The retina searing white has got to go.
Almost every forum I'm apart of has the options to change the themes. Here's an example of the Buggies Gone Wild forums. (Golf carts) It's usually located at the very bottom. Not sure if the admin can allow it or not. Usually the forum host company has those options available.
@admin thoughts on adding this theme pack? XenForo I believe allows you to add a few theme packs for free. If you enable a paid membership with custom themes and NO MORE ADDS, I would be down to chip in. Dark Mist 2.3 — Vanilla Forums
I seriously doubt you'll get any traction on this, any time soon; it's closing in on two weeks since the the ability to post images or attach files of any sort went belly up, and site owner is unresponsive.
Nope. The only work-around is to post stuff somewhere else, post a link. Which is cumbersome. He does threaten to also update the interface, which who knows might actually help the current woes. That might have some sort of dark mode.

This site currently has bigger fish to fry. For the past couple of mounts posting was an exercise in patience and technique. Any 'impatience", and you had double posting, and double threads as well. That got remedied (via migration to a new server), for now, but the posting delay is perennial, seems somewhat akin to leaves in eave troughs: it's remedied, but requires regular maintenance to keep it thus. That out of the way, for now, we now have completely broken posting of images or files (such as pdf, spreadsheet, etc). Site owner drops by sporadically, makes promises, then is not heard from. For weeks, months. So "Dark Mode" is definitely a long shot.
Hummmm, can we get Elon interested in buying it? We have a lot of pre-Tesla owners. <GRINS> Bob Wilson
That depends on whether or not he has an ad-blocker on his browser. And on how many ads are served to others reading the content he contributes. How long have premium memberships been "Coming soon!" Guilty again. I’d never entertained ad-blockers, till a few years back when it became near-necessity here. Unless you enjoy constantly dismissing pop-ups. Everything under the sun being pushed.
