Brake Lights On When Lifting Off Throttle Into REGEN?

    Quick question, in the Prius v, do the brake lights illuminate when driver lifts off-throttle and the car goes into regeneration mode? Or do they only illuminate when the brakes are activated via pressing the brake pedal? At speed, I can't get out there to look... Thanks.

    Thanks. Thought so. Was following an EV whose brake lights seemed to flicker on every lift.

    ev's are all different, but on my bolt, there's an accelerometer that controls the brake lights
