06 Prius 200,000 miles. ABS light on BSC light on, exclamation point Light, on alarm ringing soon as door open. Can your break actuator running but then shuts off. MFD touch screen on but not sensing touch. Techstream can search codes but only finds CO2 sensor code. And says can't connect to any other components to try to calibrate brakes or anything. Put extra jumper battery on 12 volt just to be sure that's not a problem. Quite a conglomeration of problems not sure if related. Any help greatly appreciate thank you!
I would carefully check each fuse by pulling and replacing them carefully one at a time. Visually inspect the fusible link module. Then move to the interior fuse box.
Hey thanks for that information. I did check make sure voltage on both sides of under hood fuse box prior to. And just got done checking interior fuse box and found OBD fuse bad will replace tomorrow. And will give update. Thanks again!
We have an update texturing reading. Not sure if bleeding brakes, calibration or linear offset will help. You think MFD screen should be replaced? Or other test option? Thanks
The state of your 12 V battery at the time the C1391 was set is not helping you. It could be the battery does not have enough to keep the accumulator pressure up. You need to save the health check and then clear all codes. Fully charge the battery and do a proper load test on the 12 V battery to ensure it is ok. Then keep the battery charger on the battery while you run tests or procedures. If you still have C1391 problems after that then you can look further into it.
Replace accumulator? 12 volt charge up good. Used Tech stream to bleed brakes as if replacing accumulator. Unit less running presently. Brake pedal feels real good. ABS VSC and! Light still on. Only codes cannot able to get rid of is C1345 not learning linear offset. Also code C1368 linear offset. Reset memory and tried and tried learning linear valve offset several times. Can't seem to get rid of it. Did try run single checker. It Said to perform tests according to manual which I don't have. Any ideas would certainly be appreciated. thank you.
Well anybody think I'm missing something? Or should I just replace the actuator? When I gave the actuator number that's on it to Toyota. 44510-47051 they said they have no record of that actuator and certainly not for an 06. I got the car this way. wonder if someone put wrong actuator on there. Toyota said must have 44500-47140 ro 41 actuator. Parts house said the one that is on there is a good number for that car. Thanks to anybody out there in cyberland that could help. Y'all have a great day!
While it is in the same format used for part numbers, it is not a part number. It most likely is a manufacturing number or something like that. Correct these are the two part numbers used. If buying new you would get the 44500-47141 as it supersedes 44500-47140. BTW, do you have two Prii, as your profile says 2004 Prius?
Prius will not learn lineal valve calibration. Even with brand new 12 v battery. Figured I'll move on to replace brake actuator. Using Thchstream to do zero down actuator. Thchstream said this function failed tried several times. Any thoughts thanks. Yes several Priuses with the whole family probably five to take care of.
