These "drop shipper" issues have been going on for a long time now. From like window shade/rain covers to hitches to now suspension components.

It's honestly not a good idea to put your money out there with that particular company. Redditors have also had similar issues.

I appreciate your candor and want to address the concerns you've raised about my business. First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

I acknowledge that there were challenges earlier this year, particularly with drop shipper issues and communication gaps. We understand the impact this had on our customers and take full responsibility for the inconvenience caused. It has taken us some time, but I want to assure you that we've been working diligently to rectify these issues and improve our services.

We've taken steps to enhance our communication channels, streamline order processes, and address the root causes of the drop shipper problems. While we faced a surge in pre-sales inquiries and order status updates, we are working to expand our customer support team to manage the volume more efficiently. Our goal is to ensure a smoother experience for every customer.

It's disheartening to hear that negative sentiments have spread online, even from those who haven't made a purchase. We understand that perception matters, and we're committed to rebuilding trust. We ask for patience as we continue to improve and provide better services.

Regarding the suggestion to contact the attorney general on Reddit, we take customer concerns seriously and are open to feedback. We are confident that as we make strides in addressing these issues, such extreme measures won't be necessary.

It's also worth noting that criticism seems to be disproportionately directed at us. We're working hard to understand and rectify any shortcomings while ensuring that the quality of our parts remains top-notch. We believe in fair competition, and it's disheartening when negativity is amplified without considering the efforts we're making to improve.

As the saying goes, "A lie can travel around the world before the truth has a chance to put on its shoes." We're committed to setting the record straight and proving our dedication to customer satisfaction. In time, we aim to restore confidence with fast shipping of quality parts.

Thank you for your understanding, and I value your feedback as it helps me identify areas for improvement.

Additionally, I'd like to address the concerns about customer complaints. We have carefully reviewed the feedback received, and it's essential to provide some context.

Out of the numerous transactions, there are approximately 20 valid complaints from paying customers circulating the internet. The common thread among these complaints is related to a perceived lack of communication and longer-than-expected shipping times. We take these issues seriously and are actively working to rectify them.

However, it's important to note that the overwhelming majority of negative comments appear to be from individuals who haven't made a purchase but are echoing sentiments from those supporting our competitors. It seems there is a concerted effort to tarnish our name. While every business expects a certain percentage of negative reviews, the volume and tone of these comments go beyond the usual scope.

Typically, around 4% of customers in any business leave negative reviews. While we might currently be above the 10% mark, it's crucial to consider the silent majority. The remaining 90% of our customers receive their parts without issue and choose not to speak up. In the past, those who did express positivity were met with relentless attacks from those wishing to see us fail. Their words were twisted, making them hesitant to speak further.

We are actively addressing the issues raised by the valid complaints, and we appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers as we work towards improving our services. We remain committed to providing quality parts with fast shipping and transparent communication.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

You get accosted because you deserve it. Best of all, you scream victim and/or deflect when the facts start to pile up against you.

"approximately 20 valid complaints"... am I still one of those 20 or did you remove me from that count after I filed (and won) my paypal dispute? What is your criteria for a "valid complaint" ?

4% leave negative reviews? What BS is this. Cite your sources.

Where is this 90%? What are you even shipping these people? I have yet to see a single person defend you or offer a positive testimony on any of your products.

As expected, everything besides your sub frame spacers on the 2nd gen page is sold out...still. I would wonder when you are finally going to go out of business but I honestly don't even think you are in business. The whole thing feels like a scam to get short term (interest free) loans until people wise up and charge back on you.

Why do they even let you participate in this forum? I see no evidence of any commitment to this community and if anything-you steal the R&D of the people who participate in this forum then try to monetize it under the guise of "business".

Honestly, I'm going to start developing 2nd gen Parts + Accessories because PriusOverlanding has been THE biggest disappointment.

I actually just looked... you are sold out of everything...for every gen Prius... you have absolutely nothing in stock. Why are you even posting on this forum? I'm going to eat your lunch, I didn't want to get caught up doing ecom for Prius parts + accessories but you leave me no choice.

You know, I love how everyone believes they are an expert and know so much about things just because they read it on the internet... I've never been a victim nor made any attempts to portray one. I particularly love it when I read people write their opinions about me, especially when I can tell they have some deep-seated emotions they haven't dealt with that are unrelated to me. That said, I forgive you! I forgive you for being tainted by the words of noncustomers who support my competition with an agenda of seeing me fail. The best part about your words, is you've shown your core is rotten, a decent human would offer assistance versus attempting to kick someone when they are down... but.. don't you worry sweet cheeks... while you might assume things are a disappointment, just know it's gonna take a lot more than I even thought to have a smooth sailing ship and I needed some time to properly iron my trousers. hahahaha and.. those 90% are sitting back watching people like yourself kick a good human attempting to do something called run a business while inexperienced which is something a lot of people call the American Dream! I welcome competition and others mimicking the products I've developed and tested, Let's see whose products are better quality and able to stand up to how they will be used! Bring it!

Bumping this old thread. Does anyone have a good source for the front AWD Matrix springs? The ACDELCO 45H1478 listed in the original post doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Seems like there is a Monroe equivalent. Did you check Rock Auto?

    Keeping the Gen2s alive :)

After much trial and error, for Europe, I found these springs to do the trick around here. Bear in mind that the rear becomes quite noticeably stiff when not carrying much load, although it's not too bad if not dealing with speed bumps, or potholes, too often:

    Front:
    KYB RC3449

    Rear:
    KYB RG6542

Both are a direct fit on OEM struts, no need for modified perch or any other part.

    Cheers,

I need a new wheel bearing and spring on my driver’s side. So thought I’d go for it and take the opportunity to install a 1.6” lift kit too! I’ve ordered the lift kit front and rear (mounts) from US, a pair of struts for the front, and a pair of wheel bearings for the front too. I don’t need an upgrade for off-roading etc, but nice to know it’ll be more capable now. But just wanted extra ground clearance and comfort for speed bumps and potholes. Will go with this set-up for now and see how it goes (I’m in UK by the way)

Is there any noticeable difference on the ride height?
    Regards

I did this upgrade with cheap ebay rubber spacers and cheap ebay heavy duty rear springs. For the front springs they were pretty hard to find, ordered one set that said they were correct from ebay and they were not. I ended up going with the Lesjofors from rock auto and they are the real deal, a little expensive, but worth it. I bought cheap struts from ebay too, and ended up having to replace the fronts with kyb after a year. If you're gonna do this I suggest kyb all around, and the Lesjofors springs for the front, the rest you can get the cheap rubber spacers and the cheap heavy duty rear springs.
