Took a very special someone for a thrill ride in the Baby Lambo last night. A favorite move is to lean into a turn with a little speed then hammer it. I did this a couple times with a few curves that followed and hit 60 in what felt like a couple seconds. The lateral G forces were quite noticeable. Lots of exclamatory reactions not unlike the folks in the video below. Who would think you could legitimately (and safely) thrill a person in a Prius...? Yes... it's a Prius. Current tank average sitting at 70+ MPG's.
Went out for a Prius thrill ride tonight after a trip to the car wash. She's still givin' a big rush. And just in case anybody thinks I don't know what fast is, I have a classic Mustang that does about 10 second 1/4 mile times. This little torquey mofo is impressive going into turns! Hammered it no less than 6 times with a total drive time of about 20 mins. Pulled into the garage with 75 MPG's on the display. STILL.... unbelievable.
