hey i've been beating my head on this Prius for a while but its not giving me much to work off of
the car will not turn the engine over it will go in electric for a few seconds and the miles per hour disappears and i hear the relays in the battery turn off also tech stream says my engine rpm is 16000 and it cant connect to the emc
there has been mice in the car so that could be some thing i have tech stream and carista and dr prius and torque

    things i've checked
high voltage battery on dr Prius everting seams normal in the app
the wires look good where the cabin air filter is
checked the service plug on high voltage battery
checked all the fuses they are good

Sorry, I was looking at your model year instead of the thread title.
I’m sure they’re very similar, but I’ll try to find some gen 3 links

everything i can find, it is the same for all cars. not enough voltage at the ecm. start with a load test on the 12 volt, then you're going to have to trace the wiring harness. after that, it's a bad ecm

thank you for all your help i think i got it working i unplugged the 12v battery from the fuse box the white wire then i unplugged the engine control module under the hood by the fuse box and plugged it back in and also charged the 12v battery then i started the car and it worked just fine. i hope this helps other people with the same problem. i also found out the engine water pump is bad maybe that disabled the engine control module so it would not over heat the car?
