Prius C one making loud rattle noise from the engine. We just got the hybrid battery replaced after car was sitting for 6 months Mpg has been around 40mpg and car runs fine after battery replacement. Sounds pretty normal to me. Maybe a little more rattle.. but hard to tell if it’s just being amplified by the recording.
Yes, the sound in the first part of the video. I'd like to know what causes that too. My 2012 Prius C also starts sounding like that recently. It seems the volume and frequency of the sound is proportional to engine speed.
