In September of last year that was the price in CDN, per liter, here. Metro Vancouver gas prices: new all-time North American high | CityNews Vancouver.
Great prices. Here we’re almost double the price. At this rate, our roads and bridges will be gold plated in a year.
You beat us but not by a lot. Around our house it's $2.77-3.00. Up here where I'm visiting in north central Ohio, its more consistently just under $3.00. I paid $3.70 at a Pilot station in KY on the way up last week. But it was still under $50 to drive my wife's Prius 1,071 miles.
I think my North Carolina sheets blue fuel is right around that when I look at the pump I generally don't think of the price of that much but it's very close and I don't have to go anywhere near Texas I don't know what the BP is across the street but I'll look when I go today or tomorrow.
Buc-ees ROCKS. Still find it hard to believe a gas station has managed to turn itself into a tourist attraction!! We'll done to their development and marketing team!!
Plus they don’t even have a sign advertising the gas prices. Everyone knows they drive the market. But the store is as big as your largest supermarket and has clean bathrooms as large as most gas stations. People get gas and leave their cars under the covered parking to shop. They now have a row of Tesla Superchargers along the feeder road.
They want to open one of these up here in Orange county or alamance county North Carolina they've moved the site and gone around and around with I don't know the locals here or the buc-ee's developers or whatever it is but they're supposed to be building one of these here We already have loves and TNA and Petro right in same areas. Kind of a trucking hub area.
Edit I stand corrected! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buc-ee%27s Some of them do have electric car chargers. Woohoo! Must be a East Coast thing I've never heard of them or seen them .
Well don't sit down yet, Buc-ee's is about as Texas as it gets. All of their locations were in Texas for their first two decades, and they've been expanding out of state for the second two. I haven't made it into one yet, but I'll be curious to see one when the day comes.
Looks like they're just starting to break ground 28 Mi south of our Nashville home - south of Murfreesboro. The whole growth thing is really exploding in Middle Tennessee.
Wow. You will be topping uk prices soon and then welcome to the microcar Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Those pics are in New Braunfels, Texas in between Austin and San Antonio. One of the biggest waterparks is in town along with a large lake just outside of the city. Both drive a big tourist business. That pic was before the Superchargers were added in place of the parking along the feeder to the left These price are per gallon not quart / liter. There are a few Mercedes “Smart” cars around. They make Prius drivers feel good about themselves. Bucees seems to minimize their gas margins to drive their store business which is full of food, candy, clothes and tourist souvenirs. I usually go elsewhere since Bucees is almost always packed to the point where you have to fight for one of the 100+ gas pumps. Generally more than half of their 20 or so Superchargers are full, almost exclusively with Teslas. Believe it or not, the Sam’s Clubs in the area often beat Bucee’s on gas prices. Another retailer who uses gas pricing to get people into their stores. Of course Sam’s Club has an annual membership fee while Bucees does not. Bucees also pays their employees better than most retailers.
Timely appearance in my feed this morning: Why is Buc-ee's so beloved? We went Beaver Nugget shopping to find out. (Stars and Stripes article)
The numbers are MUCH less than the alt media fake news says they are. Freeways and public spaces are more crowded here than before Covid. Only a small number of the extremists have left for greener grass. Don't believe anything you hear.
