Prius Prime with Fixed Glass Roof Thule Rack and Box

    IMG_8261.jpeg IMG_8265.jpeg IMG_8266.jpeg IMG_8267.jpeg IMG_8264.jpeg IMG_8268.jpeg The Thule roof rack does work on the Prius Prime and with the fixed glass roof. When you go through the fit guide on Thule it doesn’t list the Prius Prime and only list for normal roof.

    Also test fitted with the Thule Motion XT XL for upcoming holiday trips. No issues opening the rear hatch as well. Plenty of adjustment. Tested it going 60 MPH and it wasn’t bad and thought it would be worse. I’m sure on the highway at 70+ will be nosier. Will have to see the loss in efficiency on the road trip.

    It didn't take long to install the roof rack. I'd say about 20 mins. Taking them off like 5 mins. It can all be done with one person.

    Thanks for that post! I just bought that same Thule set up and I was getting nervous about the installation because of the glass roof. In fact, I have the same exact Prius Prime. Color and trim level as well.

    Looks like you're in the PNW as well.
