Where Was My Prius Manufactured?

    Hi guys I was wondering how can I find out where my Toyota Prius 2016 Gen 4 was manufactured and assembled?

    My VIN number on passengers side sticker begins with "JTDK"

    I bought the car from a dealership in the UK and wanted to know where it was made/assembled?

    Does the first letter "J" on my vin mean it was made in Japan? If yes is the car completely manufactured and assembled in Japan and then imported to the UK?

    Would love to know

    Thanks for the information my friend was saying my car was made in the UK and I was scratching my head with online info saying if your car VIN starts with J it means it was manufactured in Japan.

    This clears things up, thank you
