Been Curious about the Prime Weight Distribution since the heavy battery is under the Rear Seat. Finally found Published Front to Rear Weight Distribution. (56/44%) I thought it would be a little more rear weight Bias. Weight Delta approx. 356 Lbs. mostly attributed to Larger Battery, but some to additional optional Equipment like Power Hatch…etc. FWD Prius Limited vs FWD Prius Prime Dynamically the Prime Should be a better Handling Car due to better F/R weight distribution. Battery is also Lower underneath the car vs in the car (below Seat) so Center of Gravity is better. … lighter Car has a lot of Handling Advantages as well.
