The Sonata has blind spot warning which is nice. The Sonata also has a Tachometer, tank average and instantaneous MPG readouts making it easy to drive for best mileage. So far the mileage isn't great because it has been below freezing requiring warm-ups in the morning.
Congrats on the Sonata! They're nice cars. I like renting them, and they were on the candidate list when we needed a new family car. GM is going to have some interesting times with cars that lack CarPlay & AA. I'm of the opinion that they have at least a chance at creating a worthy competitor system... but they'll probably produce 3-5 years of garbage before they really do it. And that's potentially a lot of cars on the expedited assemblyline-to-crusher path...
Sonata update: The Sonata has some form of auto shutoff, like a really mild hybrid. First tank of mixed driving came in at 34.6 MPG. Weather was all over the place from freezing to 80 degrees. This tank is worse so far due to short trips with stop and go school drop-off. Some mornings have been cold enough to require warm-ups and ice scraping. Still managing 32 MPG so far.
