Good boy Don, always do what the wife tells you ;-) My 11 Y/O, the one who hated the look of the "squished face car" and has now changed her mind, told me not to get red. She prefers silver or blue. Since she's not my wife though, I can still choose to take a Salsa if is the first one offered rather than my preferred Seaside.
UPDATE: Message on my cell phone indicated that delivery is due between today and Friday. :multi: "As early as this afternoon." He said. *fingers crossed* (except that it's raining) I have been printing what I consider important threads like a madman this past week; arming myself with the knowledge to go in and get my car and make sure everything is taken care of before it leaves the parking lot. But I have one outstanding question: Should I ask about the 40D and 40E services or should I assume that they have already been addressed? How would I know if they have or have not been performed? I'm guessing that the fix has already been implemented upstream and addressed at the plant before it was ever shipped. But just in case, what should I look for? . . . counting the hours . . .
i have to concur with everyone else, the tideland is a lt. sea green... in the brosure only!!! i ordered the tideland because i thought it would match my bike ( it is an exact match for the color in the Prius pamphlet i got) but it is definitely gray imho. and im not sure why i am surprized. i live in the shadow of the Olympic National Forrest and next to Grays Harbor County in WA St. and as soon as i saw the car, i realized that the color was named correctly. because here, everything is shrouded in fog frequently and i must say, they did get the color right. check it out. http://priuschat.com/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=691 i will say that in very low light if a high pressure sodium is the only available light, then the car does take on a slight green tint to it
I noticed that too. After seeing it on the Prius website, I thought it wasn't a good color at all, but now after seeing people's pictures I think that might be the color I choose.
