Lots of people have been waiting on these. Thule released the footpacks last week, part number 145367. I ordered them, along with some used Evo clamps and bars I got on marketplace. The fitment is perfect! They are only listed for the regular 2023 Prius models, but they work fine on the Prime as the roof is the same Bonus pic of the car without the racks all cleaned up
Are those the 53" bars? I've now got all the parts, but have not yet pulled them out of the packages to do a test mount. (I plan on just putting them on when I need them, and pulling them off when not hauling anything around.)
Thanks for the pics. Has anybody tried these with the fixed glass roof? I don't see why these wouldn't work. I sent a question to Thule to see if they will work on the fixed glass roof. I will report back when they respond. But, on Thule it states: Normal roof A bare vehicle roof without bars, gutters, fixing points or glass.
I'm 99% sure they work with the glass roof. I'm looking to see if a local member with an XSE wants to test fit them. The mounting points are on the roofs side pillars, the footpacks don't touch the roof at all. I'm guessing the disclaimer on Thules website is there for liability reasons, they probably don't want to bear responsibility for broken glass roofs if people damage the glass during installation, or when loading the bars with bikes etc.
Got around to installing these on my car today - fit like a charm, and feel very solid! Measurements between the towers ('X' and 'Y' dimensions) had to be adjusted from what the fit kit instructions read - required about 20 minutes of futzing around making incremental adjustments until everything fit right, but other than that that bit of needed tinkering, it was a super easy and straightforward install. I've got to say, Thule has a remarkably nice system in the Evo components. I'm able to fit 2 windsurf foil boards (ie, fairly wide - stacked atop one another), and a Yakima Rocket Box on top with no problems - very satisfied with the install and fit!
I tried installing the Thule roof rack on my 2024 Prime today without success. Evo wingbar 711400, Evo clamp 710501, footpack 145367. The front bar fit when I increased the spread (or "X" in instructions) a bit from 45 to about 45.5 but I couldn't figure out how to get the rear bar to fit. Do you know what your "Y" and "W" settings are? TIA
