Did you do the app update, and decline the Master Data Service Agreement? If you decline the data agreement (the one which requests consent for collecting and sending your driving data to Toyota), all connected services shall be terminated immediately. I just updated the app and was prompted with that and saw that through a quick skim.

I've had this happen to my 2023 Limited three times, and in each case it was due to the 12V battery being drained to the point where a jump start was needed (12V battery was eventually replaced under warranty). The disconnect/reset/email occurs shortly after the car boots up after the jump start. It's a pain, you need to re-add the car to the app, and then re-subscribe to all of the connected services, but you don't lose any of your trial period.

I'd be interested in hearing more about your battery issues. Maybe post them in this thread:

WoW, "big brother is watching". FWIW - I declined the data agreement back in 2021 and still had connectivity; but Toyota may have tighten up their contract. I believe 2020-2021 model years, every Toyota was forced to switch over to the current app. From what I gather, the old Toyota Entune app was less buggy and was more functional.

Hmm I think you're on to something. I had my battery drain and I had to charge it using my charger (12v)

Why was your battery drained? Did you live your lights on?

Had it in for service, next time I was in the car I was changing some settings and the battery drained.

They probably left the lights on when it was in service.

I also had my car disappear on the Toyota App. I just redid the registration and that worked with no charge. So far it is working now.

Had it happen again today, this time the app just kept looping when I tried to re add the car

I had it happen again the other day, I suspect it is because I am leaving the car plugged in and may only drive once or twice a week.

That is very strange. My free three-year trial subscription expired a couple of weeks ago; yet, my car still shows up in the app—of course, without functionality. I have an Android phone.

Look at voltages of the 12 volt battery with the car off, than in ACC (one push of the Power button), than in On mode, than in Ready mode. Give each mode a minute or two, should be all you need to know for now, anyway. ---
I think from what I've already seen that the 14 -15 volt charge in Ready mode is not pushing to many Amps.

How long did they have it for service? I wonder if they left the car on after putting it in Park while leaving the keys in it.

Did they test the battery while in for service?

I have similar driving, parking, charging habits. I leave the car plugged in for several days at a time with no driving and have yet to have any issues with my 12V battery draining.

Finally happened to me to. Left charger attached for 6 days. Took me several hours to get everything set back up and the battery charged. Added some CTEK leads to the 12V battery to make recharging 12V battery easier should it happen again.

Got notified of my spare key arrival, had them check my 12v battery. Battery was in a state of failure and couldn't program my key. Replaced under warranty.
