I have a 2024 Prime on order and am now learning all I can about these very interesting vehicles. It seems that the Dr. Prius app is the standard for monitoring battery health, but I’d like to get an app to go with it that will show me some general parameters, in particular: ICE tach, ICE oil temp, coolant temp for both systems, and 12v battery info. Ideally the app would let me configure a screen with just what I want and not a bunch of other clutter I don’t need/want to see. The Dr. Prius site seems to have good advice on which Bluetooth OBD2 unit to get, now I just need the apps. I’ve searched here in PriusChat a fair amount on this and most of what I found is quite old, and there may be Gen5 compatibility issues with some apps so I think I’d check here. Can anyone provide some good info on the latest and best apps that will work with the Gen5 Prime?
I have CarScannerPro - lots of info (that I don't use any of it TBH). It has some 0 to xx speed measurement capability but even that I'm not useing.
torque will probably give you the best bang per buck, given what you posted. Whichever app you choose be sure to check out the devs recommended bluetooth / wifi adapter section on the apps web site.

Never used Torque (2.8 out of 5 rating on iOS) CarScannerPro (4.8 out of 5 on iOS). Allows configuring what sensors/values you want to see in a window with a custom layout - I don’t use it though. I mainly was interested in the traction battery SOC, and a few other static values.
Torque is geared more towards the technical crowd, dare I say, which might be why it's rated pretty low in the app; store, It's not always plug and play like a lot of the newer apps are. But, if you know what your looking for from the engine and your run the Prime engine enough to stack the data, Torque might take more effort to dig / into the sensor array and program, but CarScanner has 5 screens to scroll of Gen 4 Prime sensors recognized and about 1/3 of those sensors are engine related. But it only has one coolant sensor and I'm still not sure which side it is, but I'm guessing it's the engine side. Not saying they all show the same data as techstream, but when a sensor is off (for whatever reason(s) ), it's usually noticeable.
