Needing help prioritizing services-repairs /dealership quote

Axle (will strand you), coolant (might save your head gasket), maybe sway bar bushings. Use Toyota parts, maybe not labor.

100k miles transaxle fluid.

Boat payment items:

Timing chain and tensioner leaks , not until head gasket required.

Fuel system and sensors clean. No.

Independent shop with references for all this. Save money and better advice. Ideal if they know hybrids for future high dollar work but not essential for these mostly boat payment items.

By the way, an independent might offer to replace the axle boot and not the whole axle although that is more labor and depends how bad the leak is and how long it was leaking. If axle is replaced use oem.

I'm going to assume DIY is out and everything must be performed by a shop.

I would goto a reputable local shop and get a price. My priority would be the Axle and Sway Bar End links as priority #1. I would also want the shop to check if this repair is actually needed / completely repairs the issues / check the suspension.

I would not do the Throttle body service, mass air flow service, or fuel injection service based on my experience as these had little to no build up at triple your mileage.

#2 Coolant is a drain and fill with a handy wing nut at the front of the engine to drain it so i'd ask my local shop how much a drain and fill is (reminding them of how easy it is to drain and fill). Would take about the same time as the oil. Toyota Parts department sells the coolant that is recommended so i'd bring the shop the coolant.

#3 Trans Fluid - Buy this at Toyota and have local shop complete the service. Mine wanted $89 labor even though its about the same difficulty as an oil change.

Keep and mind #2 and #3 I recommend drain and fill - I don't recommend any "flush" options.

Timing chain tensioner i cannot give a recommendation on as I've not worked on it.

If DIY - #2, #3 are easy afternoon projects.
