Taking out the brake master cylinder assembly that is. My 77 year old body is going to hurt tomorrow if how it feels now is any indication. My question involves the dash panel that’s under the steering wheel. If I take that off will it provide better access to those 4 nuts on the firewall maybe using a long extension? Be handy putting the replacement in. If so, HOW DOES IT COME OFF? It’s hooked on 4 metal tabs underneath, but that’s the only place I see and that’s probably the final connection to remove it. This is a 2010. Thanks.

Anyone have advice on how to remove that panel under the steering wheel? Not the wheel shroud but the dash colored panel beneath it.

The small dash colored panel under and behind that. IMG_1181.jpeg I don’t want to break something by forcing it.

Be very careful. That part is the Driver Side Knee Airbag assembly. See Step #31...

Thanks for that. I’m not going to mess with it then. Just man up and crawl back under the dash.
