Hello I have a prius 3 2010 and I will replace the rear lamp. when replacing the rear lamp (US version of the vehicle) with a lamp with a fog lamp. What else will need to be replaced?
Does this mean the vehicle you have there in Poland is a US version, and does not have the rear fog light (we get only front fog lights in the US)? I haven't even seen a photo of a Prius with the rear fog light, so I don't even know whether it is part of the rear combination light or is mounted somewhere else. I won't be able to find it in the US parts catalog because it's not a US part. If you have a version of the car that never had it, you may also have to run a wire back from the instrument panel.
I got a car from japan . It does not have rear fog lamps.. need to install to get IVA, MOT,, anyone can help me near KT67
It's not a fog light, it's a parking light. One on each side of the car for parking on the street at night.
There definitely IS a REAR fog light in some countries (whole Europe, for example, I think). In a 2010 Prius it is in the REAR left combination light (81550Q BULB, REAR FOG LAMP, NO.1 90981-13043). In the Prius it is only at one side (left), but in other vehicles you have rear fog lights on both sides too. These are _very_bright_ red lights for the driver behind you, so he can see you better in front of him in very bad foggy conditions. You can activate them separately from the front fog lights with the same left stick. Mat (Driving a european version of Prius in Poland )
