Hey guys. So I’ve recently been replacing cells for my Prius that goes bad. I even replaced the bus bars / nuts recently due to corrosion. I DoorDash for work and the car seems to drive fine etc through out the whole day until I come home and go down a certain hill which requires me to brake a lot causing a spike when I’m monitoring my voltage. I’m using dr Prius to monitor. But after I make it down this hill, it automatically gets hot and starts to drain the battery after being charged to the top and it only happens at this hill. Like I said, I can drive it fine all day with no issues. When I scan with dr Prius, it’s shows p3000 and P0A80 but this is inconsistent. Why can I drive all day doordashing and this only happens at the end of my day when I hit this hill?

my guess is that the amount the hill is recharging the battery is much higher than anything else you do all day. if you can get all healthy and balanced cells, that should fix it

+1 above, balance the "pack" before your HV battery explodes, else inspect the HV ECU, and related HV battery wiring harness for corrosion.
