Congrats. You might be the first on the planet that has reached that milestone with your Prius Prime.

Congrats!! I'm impressed by the 62.4 mpg considering how little you probably got to charge it in order to put on that many miles so quickly.

Don’t worry my car has openpilot! It’s self driving now :)

Maybe because that's what 1 gallon per hour gets you on average, 61-62mph and 61-62mpg under "US Standard Atmosphere" conditions.
At least for me, in strict "no change in SOC" HV driving. And that's without getting "alcohol free" gas, which does better.

Open Pilot is awesome: one of the most underrated add on device to a vehicle. Anyways, did you change the engine coolant at 100K miles (as per maintenance recommendation)? If so, how much did it cost?

Hellz Yeah. My gen 2 is still running after 235k. I expect nothing less for Optimus Prime.

You can do that yourself. It's super easy. The inverter/tranny coolant is easy too. You just need a $10 hex driver set from Harbor Freight and a cheap liquid pump for $8 on Amazon. The how-to videos are on youtube. The skill level requirment is about equal to an oil change.

125k mi on a 2020 with openpilot. Only issue so far was a Ford F-150 bumper that tried to mate with one of my rear doors. 0 trips to the dealer after Toyota Care expired. Between my 2017, 2018, and now 2020 I have logged over 200k in Primes. I am continually tempted by the Model 3, but the reliability of the Prius Prime still wins out for me. That having been said, without openpilot I would have made that switch yesterday when the M3 reached into the $36k price range.
