I am wondering if there is a way to display the L/100km (or combined MPG for my American friends) on the display. I can see l/100km when I’m in HV, and KWh/100km when on EV. It also shows me combined l/100km when I turn off the ignition for the drive I’ve just completed. Is there a way to show the combined gas consumption for the entire trip? Thanks
The L/100km would include the EV portion if you started in EV mode, use it up and switch over to HV mode. On the steering wheel, press TRIP and it will cycle between Trip A, Trip B, Since Start, Range and OFF. Since Start is what you're looking for I think.
I hope that they corrected , for the Gen 5, the absurd KW/100KM scale for displaying current electricity usage , it is useless since the car uses around 15KW/100KM and the meter as a max scale of 10KW/100KM in the gen 4 Prius prime
Indeed, it's quite useless as it is. It's always peg to the top. Who the hell though that was a good idea???
Yes indeed,I wonder if it's the same stupid scale in Europe where they use the metric system also .As for our US neighbors they use another mesuring system and it seems that the scale does the job for them
US manual shows the scale going up to 10 miles/kWh, but the Europe manual shows it going up to 40 kWh/100km. For fuel the scale is 100 MPG or 15 L/100km.
Oh ! thanks , that's an improvement , hope the transposed the European scale to Canadian market for the gen 5. any new canadian gen 5 Prime owner to chime in?
