I installed a nice Alpine system in my car and it sounds amazing. I do have a few questions. 1)Is the satellite turner external to the radio? 2)If yes, does it just plug into the Alpine with or without an adapter plug? 3) If the tuner is inside the radio, can it be removed? How? Thanks, Jomo
I would think the literature that came with the Alpine would tell you all of that what Alpine number did you buy like 7618 or something then I could look it up I guess I don't know You tell me actually can you tune satellite radio right now or is that why you're asking if it's external to the radio because it doesn't work? Or what's the radio not doing?
Is the satellite tuner that came with the 2013 prius c internal to the radio? If yes, can it be removed? Can I please have those instructions? If the tuner is external, then where is it? Thank you, Jomo
All of your questions are dependent on what model of Alpine you have...... and they should be asked of them. #3 strikes me as nonsense. Why would you care ??
Just speculating here, as it was worded strangely, but I think the OP is asking if the satellite tuner portion of the radio that comes in the C (not the Alpine) is separate from the main head unit.
No it is not separate in factory radios and can’t be removed. Assuming your alpine is satellite compatible you need to install a $70 SiriusXM tuner.
